The Block.one Developer Relations team is pleased to announce a new learning opportunity for Developers: the EOSIO Webinars Series. These free, live, online events will give seasoned developers as well as newcomers a chance to learn new skills and keep up-to-date with the latest features and capabilities of EOSIO. Members of the Developer Relations team will also be there to field the community’s questions.
This initiative is part of our ongoing effort to provide information to new developers looking to learn about creating and enhancing EOSIO-based blockchain applications and advanced tutorials on new functionality to more knowledgeable developers. These live sessions will also be recorded and made available on the EOSIO Developer Portal, so everyone can access an updated and detailed learning resource for themselves or others.
The Inaugural Webinar: “Introduction to EOSIO Blockchain Development”
The first webinar will be an Introduction to EOSIO Blockchain Development. It will start with an explanation of the general concepts of blockchains, consensus mechanisms, and the unique features of EOSIO blockchains. Participants will also learn about EOSIO smart contracts and tooling, and be taken through a basic example EOSIO smart contract.
