#AskBlockone: A message for Requesting Use of Block.one Trademarks

In our on-going #AskBlockone series, we’ve been asked about using Block.one trademarks and logos. We hope the answer below serves to clarify our position.

Meetup Leaders asked #AskBlockone: Can I use your trademarks, including the EOS name and the EOSIO Logo?

Thank you for your request and for your participation in the EOSIO community. The Block.one team is diligently working to develop guidelines and policies regarding use of Block.one trademarks and logos, including suggested brand guidelines. Currently, Block.one cannot grant permission for you or other third parties to use trademarks, logos or other copyrightable works associated with Block.one or any product Block.one has in development, including EOSIO. If you choose to proceed with such use, please note that your use will be considered unauthorized and Block.one shall not be liable for your use of any trademarks, logos or other works associated with Block.one or EOSIO. Further, Block.one disclaims all warranties associated with its trademarks and logos, including any warranties of non-infringement.

In the future, Block.one may be able to grant certain limited permissions related to its logos or trademarks but cannot commit to any future grants at this time.

Again, thank you for your request and for your continued participation in the EOSIO community.
